J\u00e1vea has beautiful beaches, keep in mind that many of those beaches consist of pebbles and \/or boulders. Water shoes and a chair are useful.<\/strong><\/p><\/p>\n\n Platja del Portitxol really is a picture perfect postcard beach. The road to it is already beautiful and don’t forget to look around you on that way down, what a beautiful houses in that area. The beach has large boulders, so don’t forget to bring a chair and water shoes. On this beach you will also find those nice white fishermen’s houses. We have not yet encountered them anywhere else in J\u00e1vea<\/p>\n\n Cala Blanca is a small bay that consists of several large rocks. There are almost no facilities nearby. If you want to hang out here for a day, it is therefore useful to bring a well-stocked cool box. The name Cala Blanca comes from the whitish color of the rocks.<\/p>\n\n Platja de la Granadella consists of gravel and water shoes are also useful here if you plan to take a dip in the sea. This beach is according to many one of the most beautiful beaches of the Costa Blanca, the beach also belongs to the list of one of the most beautiful beaches in Spain and is certainly the most special beach of J\u00e1vea. Opinions are divided, but it sure is beautiful. After a day at the beach you can join La Bandidata.<\/p>\n\n PLaya de la Grava is located on the promenade of Xabia Port. It is a narrow beach and therefore it is really hard to find a good spot in the high season. You also have to deal with pebbles here, so those water shoes again for a comfortable day. The advantage here is that you are really nearby the water, wherever you are. When you’re done sunbathing, you can walk straight onto the boulevard for a cocktail or lunch: there are plenty of facilities nearby.<\/p>\n\n Playa L’Arenal is the only real sandy beach in J\u00e1vea. In high season you can rent beds here, yoga classes are given on the beach, you can kayak, play water games and rent boats. There is also no lack of catering establishments in this area. Parking is sometimes difficult in the high season, but that soft sand between your toes makes up for it.<\/p>\n\n La Cala Ambolo is the nudist beach of J\u00e1vea, the beach is also a bit hidden and is not very easy to reach. The walk down takes about 15 minutes and don’t forget that you also have to go back. The water here is crystal clear and beautiful: so it is actually recommended to take a peek here if you are in the area. Please note: there is no lifeguard on this beach.
