Easy walking routes in Jávea

Jávea has many walking routes that you can do: from easy to moderate and difficult. We have listed a number of relatively easy walking routes.

San Antonio-kaap of Cap De San Antonio

Do you love beautiful views, but difficult walks are not your thing? Then this walking route is highly recommended! From the marina of Jávea there is a walk where you can walk to San Antonio Cape or Cap De San Antonio. This is the place where the Jávea lighthouse is located and where you have a great view over the coastline. You can also drive there and enjoy the view.

Ermita Santa Llucia

Just outside the center of Jávea you will find the Ermita Santa Llucia. You can only reach the church on foot and the walk up takes about 20 minutes, but don’t forget that you also have to go down again for 20 minutes. From the church you have a beautiful view over a large part of Jávea. Here you can read more about the history of the church.

Cova Tallada

Cova Tallada is an old quarry and is therefore not a naturally created cave, but it is recommended to take a look here. Tip: take your snorkeling set with you. The easiest and short walk to Cova Tallada is about two kilometers and starts from the car park at Cala les Rotes in Denia. The longer and more difficult walk starts at the monks’ monastery “Nuestra Senora de los Angeles” in Jávea.

Parque natural de la Granadella

Parque natural de la Granadella is a natural park in Jávea. You can really enjoy walking here and make it as difficult for yourself as you want. You can choose from various walking routes, one of which continues all the way to Granadella beach. It is tough, we can tell you, perseverance is a must.

Hiking route between Arenal and Cala Blanca

From Arenal you can take a fairly nice and easy walk to the beach of Cala Blanca. You park your car in the large parking lot of Arenal beach and then walk in the direction of Cala Blanca. On that main road you have all kinds of small side entrances to the rocks on the coast over which you can easily walk to Cala Blanca. The walk takes about 20 minutes one way. Oh and don’t forget to look at those beautiful houses during your walk. Wow.
