Denia does not have many restaurants with a Michelin star: there are two, but one has three Michelin stars!
Restaurant Peix & Brases
Restaurant Peix & Brases has 1 Michelin star to their name. What comes out of the kitchen is a mix of traditional Mediterranean and avant-garde. You are guaranteed to have choice stress when it comes to wines. They have more than 400 different types of wines in the wine cellar. In addition to a la carte, you can also choose between two different menus: 82 euros and 110 euros.
Quique Dacosta
At the time of writing, there are 138 restaurants with 3 Michelin stars around the world. One of them is in Denia and they have had those three stars since 2012/2013. Enjoying the current menu is not very cheap. The price is 315 euros per person and A wine arrangement starts from 165 euros.
Below we list two more restaurants without a Michelin star, but worth a visit in Denia according to the Michelin guide.
El Raset
El Raset is located in a beautiful building that also houses a hotel. On the menu you will find all kinds of beautiful dishes that can be ordered a la carte: from oysters to rice dishes and of course various meat and fish dishes. A choice menu for lunch will cost you around 37 euros and in the evening a choice menu will cost you 45 euros. A lot more affordable.
El Baret de Miquel
El Baret de Miquel has received a Bib-Gourmand from the Michelin Guide. That is a kind of recognition for restaurants with a very good price-quality ratio. El Baret de Miquel is also not a standard restaurant if you look at the interior: it looks cozy, not stiff, even a bit homely, but still modern and the dishes look perfect.
