Amas opened its doors not so long ago and therefore they still need to be highlighted, because – highly recommended!
You’ll find the restaurant in the lobby of AR Diamante Beach. The interior is modern and stylish, and they have an open kitchen concept, allowing you to watch the sushi being made and the sashimi being sliced.
In the kitchen, you’ll find chef Diego Laso, whose vision for the restaurant is instinctive and unpretentious cooking. He began his career in Japan, where he immersed himself in the country’s culinary culture. He is also the founder of restaurant Momiji in Valencia and co-owner of Vandal and Santa in Palma de Mallorca, and now Amas is here.
The menu features Japanese dishes with a Mediterranean twist. It’s a journey of discovery, with respect for the sea and pure flavors. Think simple yet delicious appetizers like prawns, baby spinach salad, and tuna and salmon tartare. You’ll also find fresh sashimi and a selection of delicious sushi. While the menu isn’t a textbook, every item you’ll find is meticulously crafted.
In addition to the à la carte menu, you can choose from three different set menus: €35, €50, and €65 per person. These menus offer a delightful introduction to the flavors of Japanese cuisine.
