Benidorm is known for its tapas alley: a narrow street with all kinds of cute and fun tapas restaurants, but there are nice restaurant spread throughout Benidorm where you can enjoy tapas. We have listed a number of places where you can eat tapas.
Taperia la Mina
Taperia La Mina looks like a typical authentic tapas shop. On the menu you will find more than 30 different tapas: from grilled red shrimp to octopus and from cheeses to various types of ham. It is possible to order from the menu, but you can also choose a selection from the display case.
Pintxos Aurrera
Pintxos Aurrera also has an amazing display case with tapas and pintxos in the shop. In the display case you will find the famous Spanish omelette, goat cheese with walnuts and blueberries, smoked salmon with tomato, a mix of different chorizos and so much more. All that for affordable prices. Choice stress guaranteed.
Casa Antonio Benidorm
At Casa Antonio Benidorm you can eat very well and the atmosphere is often good: sometimes they have live music and sometimes a flamingo show. The atmosphere has a bit of Andalusian/Sevilian feel. The food too, by the way. It’s not necessarily all from this region. The tapas and Pintxos at Casa Antonio will make you happy and if you still have room for the paella – do it
Bar Mal Pas
At Bar Mal Pas you order your tapas and/or dishes at the table. The restaurant is not too big and is somewhat hidden. Spaniards also know how to find the place very well. If you are in Benidorm and you are craving snails and/or grilled squid, then this restaurant is definitely recommended. Of course there are more tapas on the menu.
GAZTELUTXO
This shop is an authentic Spanish tapas bar in the center of Benidorm. The prices are also very reasonable: for 30 euros you can eat enough for two people to then explore the city. You have to order at the bar here. Sometimes it is a bit busy and then it takes a little longer, but it is certainly worth having some patience.
Zodiac House
Zodiac House does not look like the nicest place in Benidorm where you can eat tapas, but you can eat well and affordably (it is relatively cheap). For example, you get a bottle of wine with 6 tapas for 8 euros. Don’t expect premium bottles of wine, but if you have to stick to a budget, go for it.
Dni Ibericos
Dni Ibericos is one of the newer tapas restaurants on this list: they haven’t been open for that long, but the reviews already don’t lie. They have no less than 5 stars on Google. The place has a more modern design and the tapas also look nice – in addition to tasting delicious, of course.
