In Altea you have plenty of bakeries where you can go. Obviously we can’t list them all, but below you will find a few.
Obviously there is not much to say about a baker. What we would like to tell you is that bread at the Spanish bakery tastes very different. The thin baguettes are a favorite in our house and of course we also take a croissant or empanada with us every now and then. What you also see a lot in the bakeries here is coca. This is a kind of flat baked dough topped with ingredients: from tomatoes with herbs to anchovy fillet and pepper pieces. We also once saw them with Nutella, a modern coca.
