Sushi may not be the first thing you think of when you are in Alicante, but you will find quite a few sushi restaurants in this beautiful city. We have listed a few favorite places for you.
Sibuya Urban Sushi Bar
Sibuya Urban Sushi Bar has several locations in Spain and they also have a location in Spain. Even though they have several locations, they ensure that every business feels cozy. The menu is full of different types of sushi rolls and if you can’t make a choice, it might be useful to order a combo, so you get a bit of everything.
DAIKICHI
DAIKICHI is a Japanese restaurant and the menu not only has sushi, but the sushi on the menu is really worth trying. In addition, the presentation is also enjoyable. They use fresh ingredients and the employees are helpful. You will find the location about a 5-minute walk from the Mercado Central de Alicante.
Aoba-ya Sake Bar
The name says sake, but the menu says delicious sushi. The location itself is not over the top and large, but that is sometimes nice: especially if you are looking for a bit of peace and tranquility on busy days in Alicante. By the way, you won’t just find sushi on the menu, and while you’re there, be sure to order some sake, because fish has to swim. Right?
Kodama
Kodama is not furnished in a hysterically trendy way, but simply calm and pleasant. The employees are helpful and fun and on the menu you will find a wide range of sushi that you certainly cannot try all in one evening. Enough reason to go back again. The restaurant is located a bit on the edge of Alicante center and we think it is therefore a bit quieter.
Mango Sushi and wine
You guessed it, this is where you go if you’re craving sushi and wine. The perfect combination as far as we are concerned. Just take a look at the pictures of the sushi. You will definitely make a reservation. Useful tip: if you have a dog, he/she is allowed inside and that is not necessarily normal in Alicante. Please call and indicate in advance.
