26 Cocktail Room
26 Cocktail Room is a cocktail bar in the center of Alicante on a very nice square. You can go there for amazing cocktails and the atmosphere is also enjoyable. In the evening the music goes a little louder and it is the perfect place to continue the evening after your dinner. You can’t necessarily hang in the lights, but the lights are waved quite often. Literal.
Marmarela
Marmarela is an outdoor club in Alicante where you can go on Saturdays, during summer season, day and at night. During the day you can sunbathe in swimwear, order drinks, splash around in the small plunge pool and enjoy the beautiful view over the water while listening to the DJ. In the evenings you can dance until the early hours. Well-known and international DJs also perform regularly.
El Portal Alicante
El Portal Alicante is a favorite if you are ready for a glamorous night out. You can mainly go there for food in combination with cocktails and wine. They also have a small section in front of the bar where you can drink drinks, but that section is often full. It is best to make a reservation for a dinner and then you will often be moved to the drinks-only section. Not everyone dances there, but if you do, no one looks at you strangely.
Puntapiedra
Puntapiedra is on the outskirts of Alicante, but is definitely worth a visit. The location is divided into different parts: chic restaurant, hip beach bar atmosphere and terrace. There is often a DJ playing at the weekend and even all day long during the summer season. During the day it is more relaxing and enjoying the sun and in the evening it feels more chic and you can dance a little. They also often have theme nights and things really get going then.
Pelican Restaurante & Club
Pelican is a good restaurant during the week and during the day with a beautiful and trendy interior. You can enjoy fusion Japanese dishes, delicious cocktails and fine wines. On weekends, the location is transformed into a hip nightclub later in the evening, with VIP tables (if that’s your thing). Pelican can be found at Playa de San Juan, Alicante. If you stay in the center you will have to travel a bit, but it is definitely worth it.
