New Delhi is one of Alicante’s most famous Indian restaurants, located on the boulevard/promenade. The restaurant itself isn’t very large inside, but the terrace is highly recommended on a sunny day. The menu is full of classics like butter chicken, tikka masala, and tandoori dishes.

Indian House is a great place for people with dietary restrictions: they have plenty of gluten-free and lactose-free options, and many vegetarian dishes. The service is friendly, and the dishes are beautifully presented and prepared in Indian style. The chai, by the way, is highly recommended.

Bombay Palace
Bombay Palace has a cozy atmosphere: warm and relaxed, and the colors and dim lighting complete the vibe. Expect authentic Indian flavors that instantly transport you to the East. The curries, biryani, and tandoori dishes are well-seasoned, and the prices are absolutely reasonable.

The menu is extensive, with traditional Indian dishes and plenty of vegetarian options. They cook according to authentic recipes, and you can taste the difference.

Bharat Indian
This restaurant is located outside Alicante’s city center, but it had to be on our list. It’s the perfect spot if you want to avoid the crowds. The menu features all the familiar dishes that will transport you to India. Also nice: they have their version of a menu del dia. The lunch menu is slightly more affordable than in the evening.
