Jávea, the picturesque coastal town on the Costa Blanca, has another gem: Santo Pecado Cocktail Bar opened a while ago and should be on your list.
This new spot can be found just behind Arenal beach, behind the promenade, a bit hidden. However, it is really worth seeking. You will find a Google Maps link on their Instagram account.
It is useful to know that Santo Pecado is literally just a (corner) bar and you sit outside on the terrace that they have created. It can be a bit chilly in the colder months, but you don’t have to suffer from the cold, because there are plenty of heat sources on the terrace. In addition, Santo Pecado Cocktail Bar is also located on a corner that you hardly feel any wind.
As for the cocktails… Obviously we haven’t tasted them all yet, but what we did taste did not disappoint. They all looked beautiful: not those cliché-looking holiday cocktails, but very nice and hip as you would expect at a high-end place. They also only use fresh ingredients, which they also display on the bar. You can also order food. It is not an extensive menu, but it does not only contain snacks and therefore also real meals with which you can fill your belly.
