In Jávea you don’t have any real beach clubs, but there are plenty of places where you can taste the atmosphere.
Palmito
Palmito, at the beach of Arenal, is actually the only place where you can step onto the sand from your chair or lounge sofa. Expect a nice atmosphere and a good view over the entire Arenal beach. The menu here does not disappoint: expect good food and drinks! They regularly have a DJ over (keep an eye on their social media). If there is no DJ present, they provide nice tunes in the background.
La Siesta
La Siesta in Jávea really does feel like a beach club – minus the sand, because the place is surrounded by boulders – beautiful white pebbles. La Siesta itself is beautifully decorated: almost completely white and the view here is great! Unfortunately you cannot make reservations and that is sometimes difficult in August, but you usually have a spot right away for the rest of the year. You would think that the prices are very high, but that is not the case and the quality of the food is also good.
Cala Bandida
Cala Banida is located in the corner of Xabia Port and is next to a pebble beach where it is fairly busy during good weather. The restaurant is slightly higher the street level and has a beautiful and unobstructed view over the water. Book a table here at the waterfront of the restaurant and you are guaranteed a great day with a beach club atmosphere.
Acqua Jávea
Acqua Javea is located at the end of the boulevard at Arenal beach. The location looks a bit bohemian: think of brightly colored parasols and wicker accessories. You also spend the longest time in the sun here, because the sun sets opposite. After a day on the beach, you can end your day here with the evening sun on your face, a cocktail in your hand and a snack in front of you.
La Bandideta
La Bandideta is located at Playa de la Granadella and has a beach bar feel: relaxed, not over the top and it really feels like a holiday. You can simply take a seat here if you are a bit covered in sand. You can go there for breakfast and after the (late) lunch they close. Reservations are recommended: tip do that before you lie on the beach with your towel, earlier in the high season.
